Weebee (Russian Пчелёнок, Pchelonok) is a bee who is one of the main characters in the animated series. He is one of Moonzy's friends and he goes to a bee school everyday to learn basic bee skills.
Personality[]
Weebee is hardworking and inquisitive, but, at the same time, very shy. He used to think that he did not need to go to school, because he already knew everything, but after the “Walk the lesson” episode, he realized that the knowledge gained at school would be useful.
He is the smartest among the kids, so he was the only child character who could count accurately in the “Counting beetles” episode. Sometimes he tells his friends what he has learned today. His dream is to become a hero and save the world. During the events of the series, he was able to overcome the fear of the dark.
Relationships[]
Dottie[]
Weebee is in love with Dottie, but cannot confess it to her. Composes poems for her and gives gifts. Dottie likes Weebee too, but despite this, they sometimes quarrel. Dottie knows Weebee’s feelings and waits for him to tell her.
Skip[]
Short-term quarrels occur with Skip and Weebee. Often their cause is Dottie, to whom Skip is neglected. Nevertheless, Skip and Weebee are good friends.
Woopsie and Poopsie[]
Most bee and caterpillar encounters often result in minor conflicts. For example, in the episode “Incredulous caterpillars” they did not believe in the info in his textbook, and in the episode “Collectors” they stole his collection mineral. However, Weebee and the caterpillars Woopsie and Poopsie are always reconciled after their conflicts.
The Ants[]
Meetings of Weebee with the ants practically do not occur, with the exception of the episode “Rhythm”, where he communicated with ant No. 114.
Moonzy[]
Moonzy and Weebee have a good relationship. He became one of the first friends of Moonzy. Often they play a ball together and help each other. In the episode “The perfect house”, theangry Weebee didn't trust Moonzy, but then they gradually became very good frends a few episodes later.
Trivia[]
- In the series "The Detective" on the diary of Weebee is written: "Diary of Weebee Tyoma". It is possible that Weebee's real name is Tyoma (Artyom). On the official project licensing site of Mill studio ('Mill agency'), the character's page is also signed with this name.
- In the updated graphics of the animated series the appearance of Weebee, as well as other characters, is slightly changed, some small new details are added. For example, colored eyes (in Weebee - brown), the bow has a striped pattern.
- Weebee is probably the same age as Skip, but for some reason Skip doesn't go to school. This is most likely because only bees have to learn compulsion.
- He has blond hair, unlike all other bees, because of which he always stands out. But in the series "House", "Porridge" and "Holiday Poems" all the bees have white hair.
- In the "Concert" series, Weebee learned to play the trumpet, just like Skip.
- In the magazine "Learning and Playing with Moonzy № 1" shows twin brothers of Weebee
- In the magazine "Learning and Playing with Moonzy № 6" shows a house in the village of Weebee.
- In the full-length movie we will finally be able to see the hero's mother.
